About us

Welcome,
We are a group of working professionals and students from Hyderabad. We are an NGO aiming to make our society even more better.
We have seen some situations which made us to form this organisation. There are many people dying of hunger, many not able to study even if interested and many more who are waiting for some help.
 We started our journey paying school fee for 3children. We help a few orphanage and old-age homes in our city providing their basic requirements. We, the members of Aathmiya Foundation spend their weekends with the children and old people over there. Our team members also donate blood in emergencies and also organizes blood donation camps for every 2-3months. all the members will be available for any kind of medical emergencies.
  Our organization also tries to bring out talents from students. We conduct events like sports, singing, dancing, and other extra-curriculum activities in different schools.
This system is designed in such a way that even if 20% of us spare just 1 hour a week, then these 20% can transform this world into a happy home. Commit yourself to execute your SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY just for 1 hour a week according to your convenience.

We believe in a philosophy that " to remove darkness, instead of focusing on removing the darkness, let us focus on spreading light............
.............the light u spread will automatically remove darkness completely.

 We have totally five teams which concentrate on different activities the following are the five teams which we have:

Project Akshara:-The main aim of this project is to provide education to every child by giving financial support to poor students. This project also deals with the education based activities like sanitation programs in schools , teaching class and bringing awareness to people on how the education is necessary for children etc.
                            At present we are offering education to five students who are financially poor .we are paying their school and college fee every month.

                          We are happy to provide them education and we are looking for the scope of the Akshara project and provide education to every child who are in need.
 A project director and executive coordinator is appointed for this and they manage the Project Akshara.


Aims and objectives

Akshara:
To provide good education to the kids.
To give finacial supports to those who are not willing to pay fee.
To give seminors and awareness activities on education to parents and childrens.


To conduct some sanitary works for the schools which doesn’t have minimum requirements for the students.


 Project Raksha:-Project raksha deals on health sector. The main aim of this is to provide blood to the needy people and also providing blood to the all emergency cases. This also conduct medical camps and provide good medicines to people in the areas where there are no medical requirements   and also by these medical camps many people who are economically poor can be benifited.

                                    We also conduct many awareness programs on deadly diseases and give them precautions to protect from those diseases. From this project we meet each and every person who are suffering from major and minor health problems and take actions to provide good treatment to them.
                                     At present we are conducting awareness programs on Thalassemia   disease. Thalassemia is an inherited autosomal recessive blood disease.
2010 to 2014 up to now:

  • Organized 1st blood donation camp for red cross society on 26th jan , vidya nagar
  • Organized blood donation camp for thalassemia effected kids on march 3rd 2010 , bhadurpally
  • Organized blood donation camp for thalassemia effected kids on april 4th 2010,kphb
  • Organized blood camp for thalassemia effected kids on julu26th 2011,malla reddy eng clg
  • Organized blood donation camp for thalassemia effected kids on  march 8th 2012 , afzal gung
  • Organized blood camp for thalassemia effected kids on may 27th 2012 ,afzal gung
  • Organized camp for thalassemia effected kids on june 19th 2012 , afzal gung
  • Organized blood donation camp for thalassemia effected kids on aug 27th 2012, bhadurpally.
  • Organized Voluntery blood Donation camp for Thalassemia Effected kids on 23rd march 2013,Afzal gung.

Medically Supported cases :
  • Our financial support of Rs.20,000 to Master Nikhil towards his medical fee.Master Nikhil is a 4years kid he met with an accident his leg have been injured and he was in comma , we felt very bad by looking that cute kid laying on bed. So we decided to support him and we had supported that kid ,now nikhil is fine and he is walkng normally .

  • Our Financial support of Rs.15,000 to Ram reddy towards his medical fee .Ram reddy is an I.T employee due to some problem his brain got effected and he got paralysis to entire body .Now he is  recovering slowly for complete recover he need more 50,000.

Our Achievements  :-

Collected 650+ units of blood for thalassemia effected kids.
Provided 400 units of blood on call basis for those who are in  emergency need.   
Aims and objectives


 Raksha:
To conduct medical camps in villages and in the areas where there is no medical facilities
To provide good nutrician,protiens contained food to poor people.
To provide blood to the emergency cases.
To conduct blood camps to provide blood to those who are suffering with diseases li thalasemia etc.
To conduct seminors and awareness programs on blood donation and its use and advantages
To give proper information on the spreading and deadly diseases to prevent them with some precautions.


 Project Srujana :- The main objective of this project is to bring out the hidden talents of children in various aspects. For this we conduct few events which include dancing, singing, painting, sports and other cultural activities.
                                        
                                 Every year these events are conducted in various schools regularly and mostly during national festivals. Children are even awarded with prizes.
                                          
                                     Apart from their regular education such events allow children to develop their creativity and to show up their talents.

Srujana:
To findout the hidden talents in the students.
To conduct the sports events in the schools.
To conduct cultural events and show the performences of the childrens .

 Project Aradhana:- The main aim of this project is to spend our time with people living in oldage homes and orphanages during weekends and festivals.

                                      We provide lunch and accessories to the orphanages and oldage homes.Frequently we visited to some orphanage home like simle foundation,matrusri oldage home and Snehakunji orphanage etc.

Aradhana:
To provide good facilities to the orphans.
To make them happy by maintaining good relationship with them.
To make the frequent visits to the oldage and orphanage homes .
To spend some time with them.
To build and takeup some orphanage and oldage homes.


Project Vanitha :- The main moto of  vanitha team is to empower women with various and courageous activities steps taken by amf and providing time to time  counselling for school and inter and b-tech students and we are helping women from harassments and we are working with Bhumika helpline to solve  women problems.
